October Homework for 1st Grade
Please turn in assignments as you finish them. Number the assignments to match the number in the box. Color each box as you complete it. Turn in this homework sheet when all of the boxes have been colored for a reward. All assignments are due the last school day of the month!

2. Read a story. Draw a picture and write a sentence about your favorite part. |
3. Write your numbers from 1 – 50. |
4. Write the tens to 100 (ex. 10, 20, 30…). |

5. Make a pattern using fall pictures (pumpkins, leaves, bats…) |
6. Write all of the uppercase letters.

7. Complete the October calendar activity (sheet attached). |
8. Find a rock. Use 5 words to describe it (size, color, texture, shape, weight). |

9. Draw and label a circle, square, triangle, and rectangle. |
10. Draw and label a hexagon, trapezoid, and parallelogram. |
11. Write 3 sentences about fall. Draw a picture to go with your sentences. |
12. Write your first and last name 3 times in your best handwriting. |

13. Write your address and phone number in your best handwriting. Practice remembering them.

14. Write 3 safety rules. |
15. Write 5 sentences about yourself. |
16. Draw 4 triangles. How many sides altogether? |

* Please help your child learn their first and last name, phone number and address. It is a big help if we need to contact you. They also need this to login to the computer.* Please help your child learn to tie their shoes.* Breakfast is from 7:30- 7:55. Doors open at 7:15. Students are picked up for class at 7:55. Please make sure your child arrives early enough to eat and still be in class on time.
